Towards the end of the semester I will give my highlights of my college career but for now I am just so excited this is my last semester. There are some sad parts about graduating. Even though I will still be in Rexburg after I graduate, I will not be on campus. One thing I will miss most is my job. For six semesters I have had the opportunity as a secretary for the BYU-Idaho Activities office. I have had the opportunity to work with so many people who are definitely led by the spirit in all they do. Working with these people and in this department has made my experience so much richer, Heavenly Father had a plan when he put me in the department.
Let me tell you, it has been quite an amazing experience!
| Have been with this jem since day one at activities, this was on our last first day of work and school at BYU-Idaho. |
| Idaho welcomed us back with this lovely snow storm the first week back! |
My Goals in this last semester:
- Do not be late in school or work (snow delays do not count)
- Get straight A's
- Be productive and get projects done week by week
- Do not procrastinate (that is a little big, maybe just procrastinate less... haha)
- Come closer to my Heavenly Father through my experiences and school work
- Find a job
- Graduate!
I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to have been able to attend BYU-Idaho for my college education. I know there is a reason I was to come here, one may have been to meet my husband but I think the biggest reason was to strengthen my testimony. This place is like a safe haven and I have really grown closer to my Heavenly Father through my time here. I am so excited to graduate this semester and have fun doing it! Happy January and happy day!
Side note: Today is Sunday and many things are happening in our lives right now and I cannot help but realize that Christ is really there for us in all aspects of our lives. He is my best friend and is there for all of us in times of sorrow and in happiness. My friend posted this video on Facebook and it just explains Christ as our companion so well.
