Bullying.

Today in some down time I came across a new Mormon Message. Mormon messages are short videos put together with a story line having to do with important scripture stories and words of the prophets and apostles.
I am always excited for new videos especially this year because there are not too many yet this early in the year. I was told of this Mormon Message called "Stop it" this is based off of the talk by a member of the first presidency in the LDS church, Dieter F. Uchtdorf. This talk is on of my favorites because it talks about judging others and teaching others poorly.
This particular video is on bullying. I have not seen horrible bullying in my life but sadly I have taken part in not being nice to someone and have had the same given onto me. I know that bullying is such an awful thing that is becoming so vicious especially with the rise in technology. While I was watching this video my heart sunk because the poor girls being bullied were doing nothing wrong to those who thought what they were doing was just fun.
After watching this video, my mind went crazy and I thought about how all of are God's children so why in the heck do we think it is okay to bully others around us? I know that Christ would want us to love all of those around us because us being different is what makes this world interesting. This video has really humbled my perspective on people and I am going to try a lot harder to be kind, nice and Christ like to all those around me.
I am so sorry for the rant but I just felt so compelled to share this thought and video because it is so important that we make OURSELVES the start to stopping bullying.
