Honeymooners in Cancun!

This post is a few months late but I wanted to get my wedding post out first before I gushed about our very fun Honeymoon to Cancun! So Kendall and I left our reception late the night of our wedding and had to drive two hours to LA for our 9:15am flight to Cancun the next morning. We had to be at the airport at 7 so we really did not get much sleep. That night we landed in Cancun and our fun vacation away from all the madness of the wedding had begun! We were able to go to a place called Explor where we went swimming and canoeing in caves, drove fun vehicles and went ziplining! We also spent most of our time by the pools and the beach, it was so nice not to have cell service or anything to do and Kendall and I could just enjoy each other's company.
We stayed at an all inclusive resort so everything was included, which meant unlimited food! Also with that Mexican coke is amazing and we had that every single day 5 times a day, it was our secret to not getting sick! Kendall and I went to the city of Tulum, about 30 minutes from our resort. It is a local town where we were able to get authentic Mexican tacos and go shopping at all of the little huts on the street. I loved seeing Kendall back in his element and how shocked the people were when he started speaking fluent Spanish. It was fun to see some of the Cancun culture and be away from the tourist attractions for a day. We were sad we had to leave after 5 days but had a great time at our resort and it was the best way to start our marriage off!
Waiting to go to the beach, which was only 5 minutes from our hotel!

Taking a ride on the golf carts at the resort

Dinner at the Asian Restaurant at the Resort, they cooked in front of us, it was so fun!

Kendall getting ready to have some fun at Xplor!

We had to wear these helmets through the whole park so pictures could be taken of us and so the cave ceilings would not fall on our heads!

Kendall & I at the "heart" of Xplor!

You can tell Kendall LOVES kisses!

Kendall being "proper" at dinner.
This was my proper... pinky up!

Kendall and I in front one of the pieces of art in the hotel.

This is us after there is way too much yummy buffet food and we were way too full!

Each day the maids would make a different "towel animal" for us to enjoy!

Cool ancient Mexican piece in Tulum!

Kendall and I being tourist in Tulum.

Having authentic street tacos in Tulum.

This is the conk shell Kendall INSISTED on buying in Tulum.... he really liked to make noise out of it!

No noise would come out of the shell when I tried!

We were exhausted when we got back from Tulum and the Beach!

Another art piece in the hotel.

Night exploring on the beach!

One of the many "friends" we had while at the resort. It was really cool that there were just animals roaming the resort.

The heart pizza one of the chefs at the resort made me our last day there, he had a little crush, Kendall thought it was cute!

Mexican coke... we miss this sweet goodness so much!

Goodbye Cancun, we will miss you!
I am so grateful Kendall and I were able to get away for a week and have a great time in Cancun. We had a lot of fun and were able to relax after months of planning the wedding. It was such a fun way to start off our married life. I loved this trip and hope we can go back again some time soon! Happy day and happy December!

Eternal Happiness!

So here is the wedding post that I have promised for quite sometime now. Kendall and I got most of our pictures back and we love them! If you want to see most of the them, they are on Facebook, BUT lets talk about the wedding and how special this day was for Kendall and I and our future family. It really was quite the week, every one started coming in on Monday and so did the stress of getting all of the last minute details of the wedding done. It was a crazy week but by the groom's BBQ and swim party I was so relaxed and ready to marry the man of my dreams.
Kendall and I were married in the Mormon San Diego Temple, we were not just married for our time on this earth but we are sealed together as one unit for eternity. This was the most important decision I made and will ever make in my life because I am with Kendall for not just for this earthly time but forever. This is part of the reason why he took 25 months to propose because we needed time to get to know one another. This makes our marriage so much sweeter to me because I know this man loves me for me and all of my flaws and I am so extremely grateful for that.
This wedding day was such a blur but when it was all said and done, I got to say that I am married to the funniest, loving, cutest, most caring red head I know! I was so excited to finally tell people my name was "Samantha George" and be able to be with Kendall for all time and eternity.
Being sealed to Kendall does not mean that I am sealed to JUST him for eternity but also to our future children. I am so grateful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and to be sealed to my husband for all time and eternity. If you are interested in knowing more about our church and the temples please visit www.lds.org/temples.
Our wedding day was perfect, despite me being late to the temple, BUT that is a common occurrence in my life! But after that hiccup, the sealing was amazing, our trip to In-N-Out with our photographer was so fun and our reception with our closest family and friends was all I wanted. I am so grateful for my parents, in-laws, friends and family for helping us with our big day. I could not have asked for anything else.
Here are some of my favorite pictures from the the temple and our reception!
