New Year... Reflection & Goals!

Well 2013 is now over and sorry for not posting for awhile... Christmas break was quite an adventure with mine and Kendall's families! I know I am a little late but here is the new years post ... so sad I didn't post about Christmas. That truly is my favorite time of the year. Getting married and learning from my husband and family, I am coming to appreciate the true meaning of Christmas more and more.
Mine and Kendall's two week break started with our flight home being four hours late... that is what we get for living in Idaho. And then we got home and it was time for last minute Christmas shopping and festivities of the holiday to begin!
We did so many fun things with both of our families in San Diego ... see pictures below!

The Christmas jammies my parents got us!
Our cute stockings my mom found for us!

These desserts are from a place in San Diego called Extraordinary Desserts... it truly was extraordinary and chocolaty!

This is Kendall and I and our fun time at the zoo!

My parents and I took Kendall to one of my favorite burger places in San Diego called 50/50 burger. This is his half bacon half beef burger, it was delicious!

This is our cute wreath my mom made for us and our little Christmas tree for our apartment.

Happy New Year!

This is Ally, my cute niece who was born in November.

Here are some of the awesome animals we saw at the zoo!

Kendall was very excited about our trip to Bass Pro Shop in Vegas ... this place is amazing!

With this new year comes resolutions and reflection on the last year!
Here are some great things that happen to me in 2013... Kendall FINALLY proposed, we got married and made it through our first semester of school being married! Also, I have a new niece, thanks to my sister and I was able to go through the temple with my dad, sister, Kendall and close family and my friends! 2013 was quite the year for me, there were many ups and downs but the main thing I realized is that nothing in this life is possible without my Heavenly Father guiding me.
This past year through family trials and triumphs I have grown closer to my Heavenly Father and Savior and have such a strong testimony of the gospel and how much Christ can comfort us when times are hard and be there smiling with us when things are going great!
Christ is my savior and last year would not have happened without His help and love. I am grateful for 2013 and the marriage to my best friend, I am also excited for 2014 and the many adventures that await Kendall and I!
Things to look forward to in 2014:

  • I graduate from BYU-Idaho on April 11th
  • Graduation trip
  • Kendall graduates in December of 2014
There are probably more things but those are our major events thus far!
Happy day and happy January!
